The MicroLED Industry Association to host a sub-micron LED webinar

On February 17th 2025, the MicroLED Industry Association will host a private webinar focused on submicron LED technology. During this webinar, association members will look into sub-micron LED technology, understand the latest status and research innovation and discuss how submicron LEDs should take part in the future microLED industry.

The webinar will feature two speakers, and will follow with an open Q&A session.

  • Prof. Zetian Mi, The University of Michigan
  • Xavier Hugon, Chief Product Officer, Aledia

This will be the first MicroLED Industry Association event to be hosted in 2025. In 2024, the association hosted several online events and two on-site meetings (during SID DisplayWeek 2024 and during MicroLED-Connect 2024, which was co-organized by the association itself). Next month the association will host a webinar focused on inkjet printing technologies and their applications in the microLED industry.

The MicroLED Industry Association was established in 2022 with an aim to speak in a unified voice and promote microLED display solutions. The association works to improve communication, collaboration and partnerships within association members and assist its members in reaching their marketing and development goals. The association currently lists over 30 members, including LG Electronics, 3M, GE, ams-Osram, Corning, Applied Mateirals, the Fraunhofer Institute (IZM and FEP), UCSB, Coherent, and many more.
